Object of the Contract

These General Terms and Conditions govern the sale of goods through the website www.designtrasparente.com between the seller and the buyer, who may be either a consumer (a natural person acting for purposes unrelated to their business or professional activity) or a business, public entity, or organisation.

Contract Formation

The purchase contract is considered concluded when:

* The online form has been completed

* These terms and conditions, the privacy policy and the right of withdrawal have been accepted

* Payment has been successfully processed

The order becomes binding only after verification by Designtrasparente and confirmation by email.

Payment Methods

The following payment methods are accepted:

* Credit/debit card

* PayPal

* Bank transfer in advance

Orders will only be dispatched after payment has been received in full.

Shipping and Delivery

Shipping costs are calculated based on weight/volume tiers and are clearly indicated in the shopping cart before the order is confirmed.

For safety during transportation, products are shipped disassembled.

Production times are specified on each product page.

Delivery is made at street level. The customer is responsible for cooperating with the courier service in the event of scheduled delivery calls or second delivery attempts. Any costs arising from storage or re-delivery will be charged to the customer.

Claims and Transport Damage

Any damage must be reported to the carrier upon delivery and confirmed within 7 days by email to assistenza@designtrasparente.com, with a report and attached photographs.

Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, the customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract within 14 calendar days from the date of receipt of the goods, without giving any reason.

By confirming the order, the customer declares that they have read and fully accepted the Terms and Conditions of Sale, including the right of withdrawal, the Privacy Policy, and all other contractual information available on the website.

Product Features

Each product is described in detail on its respective page, which prevails over any decorative or contextual images.

Images are for illustrative purposes only.

Products are crafted with great care, but minor technical or aesthetic variations may occur compared to the images shown. These differences are typical of handcrafted production and do not affect the product’s quality or functionality. They should not be regarded as defects.

Prices

All prices are listed in euros (€) and include VAT. Prices may be updated, and any changes will be immediately reflected on www.designtrasparente.com.

By confirming the order, the customer acknowledges and accepts the final purchase price.

Invoicing

Invoices must be requested at the time of order placement. A courtesy copy may be requested via email.

Legal Guarantee

All products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity as set out in the EU Consumer Sales Directive (1999/44/EC) and, where applicable, in the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. This means that if a product is defective or non-conforming at the time of delivery, the customer is entitled to free repair, replacement, or refund.

As the items are handcrafted and made-to-order, often using delicate materials such as acrylic (plexiglass), the guarantee does not cover damage due to improper use, negligence, normal wear and tear, or incorrect maintenance. Scratches, dents, or defects discovered after assembly or use are not covered under the warranty.

Customers are advised to carefully inspect the product upon delivery and report any defects promptly in order to exercise their rights under the guarantee.

Designtrasparente is not responsible for any external links provided on the website that direct to third-party pages.

Returns are not accepted for customised or made-to-order products, in accordance with Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU (equivalent to Article 59 of the Italian Consumer Code).
